A new way for Sports Injury assessment
Critical injury assessment on the field
The problem is that current medical imaging technologies only exist in hospitals and lack the ability to perform risk assessment on critical injuries, especially in connection with physical activity, such as while playing a professional sport. This means that injury screening can’t be carried out efficiently and reliably. This lack of reliable risk assessment can lead to players with serious injuries continuing to play, risking further damage. Additionally, due to the nature of professional sports, even minor injuries can have serious long-term repercussions
To address this issue, a newly developed injury assessment system is needed. Such a system needs to be able to perform risk assessment quickly and accurately. If possible, it should further provide recommendations for treatment and rehabilitation protocols. The system should also be able to track injuries over time, allowing for more effective management of recurring injuries. Finally
A mobile ultrasound device that enables physiotherapists and coaches to monitor athletes in real time, during practice and during games. They get accurate information about an athlete’s condition that can help them avoid injuries and get back on the pitch faster. This device can be used for both amateur and professional athletes
The benefits of this technology are twofold. First, it significantly reduces the time and cost associated with visiting a doctor or physical therapist. By being able to monitor the athlete’s condition in real time, doctors and physiotherapists can gain a better understanding of the athlete’s condition and can take appropriate action if necessary. Second, it allows athletes to stay on top of their game, as they can monitor their injury status more accurately and make more informed decisions regarding the level of the injury right on the field.
